Over the weekend my mother-in-law was in town and we were talking about things I could do to push my illustrations, and future career, forward. One of the things she suggested was to create shopping bags. Shopping bags are something that most people are using at the super market, etc. and people are always looking for cute ones to use. Above is a sample of one I sketched out. I also would like to try a few with Coco and Louie, and maybe one with an elaborate character pattern. What do you think? Any thoughts on other products or designs?
I love the shopping bag idea - maybe you could do them more like the reusable ones (that hold like 40 cans of dog food ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat about stylish tee shirts? I would totally wear one under a cute cardigan :) I think greeting cards, stationary, note pads, mouse pads, mugs. Maybe find a contact at Hallmark? I think they would be so cute to give as gifts :)
I love the shopping bags, I know I would buy them. You could even used them for gift bags.
ReplyDeleteI agree - I think the shopping bag idea is great - in a variety of sizes if possible - you could use smaller ones as gift bags - someone gave me a gift in one that is 10x10x4 and i use it all the time to carry my "stuff". T-shirts are also a cute idea - maybe note pads as well?! I am always looking for cute ones and they are hard to find!
