In the fall I worked with Aaron J. Vigil-Martinez on a custom illustration of him to be used on his website, Capped & Collard, a men's lifestyle website and blog.
It was a lot of fun working with Aaron on this. He had a great eye and while knowing exactly what he wanted his final illustration to look like, he was also pretty flexible gave me a lot of freedom in the style and details. In the end we went from something much more professional and corporate toward something a little more casual but still professional.
While working on the illustration and making the final updates he had one last request that was probably my favorite, he always wears a whale hat from Vineyard Vines and asked that it be added, so, that's the hat with the pink whale!
