A Picture A Day

Sometimes, to help me study a figure, a pose, or just something I like, I will draw from a photo, painting, or other work of art I find particularly interesting. It's not something I will add to my portfolio, or anything special, it's literally a study. A copy of their work for me to learn from it. To try to see what they saw. That is exactly what the below photo and line drawing is. The photo, originally seen here, was beautiful, so the line drawing on the left is my interpretation and study of the photo. Below that is an illustration I created based on the relaxed "beachy" feeling of the original photo.
